Victimology at a glance
In 1937 Benjamin Mendelsohn began the first scientific study of victims of crime, and introduced the term " The Science of The Victim ", for which in 1947 he coined the term "Victimology" for which Benjamin Mandelsohn is still known as the father of Victimology.
